Thunder Porpoise has released a track from his upcoming album as a name-your-price single on Bandcamp to raise funds to donate to March for Our Lives (learn more at https://marchforourlives.com/
home). All proceeds from the sale of this limited release will be donated to March for Our Lives, in support of their valiant efforts to advance the cause of common-sense gun legislation in the United States, while attempting to balance the obvious pain and outrage in society with a message of hope, compassion, reason, and love. Thunder Porpoise will also match the donation raised by this release up to $100 from his personal funds.
Thunder Porpoise wrote and recorded the track in the shadow of the long and virtually uninterrupted line of school shootings in the United States, and in the direct wake of the tragedy at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on February 14, 2018. He hopes that the charity release of his track will help raise and maintain awareness of the issue of school shootings and gun violence in general, and the greed that enables them.
